The history
Van Os – Duracoat is a family business, with more than half a century on the counter. In 2021, Het Veer took over the company from its business manager Raf Van Os.
Van Os – Duracoat specialises in industrial metal coating and through this takeover we are expanding the metal sector of our group, which includes Lakkerij Vandereyt, Robby and Femaco.
In addition to zinc phosphating and powder coating, the company mainly specialises in plastic coating with Abcite® and Resicoat®. A special coating offers extreme corrosion protection, which is applied, for example, to pipes for the water treatment sector, such as for the Water Group or Aquafin.
Their special expertise in exceptional corrosion preventive coatings for the maritime sector, offshore and drinking water facilities will be a complementary activity for Lakkerij Vandereyt and fits in with our strategy of “sailing on blue oceans”.
