At Het Veer, we believe that sustainability is not a distant shore, but a course we are already steering today. As the proud crew of our holding company, we know that true sustainable business starts from shared responsibility – from wheelhouse to engine room. <\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf0a What we are already doing today in The Veer<\/h3>\n

On board The Veer, sustainability and efficiency are closely intertwined. We aim for structural solutions in our daily operations – without losing sight of the compass. <\/p>\n

–Waste at the right port<\/strong>
We separate waste carefully, both in the office and in production. We avoid residual waste whenever possible so that less goes overboard. <\/p>\n

– <\/span>Paper? Only if I really have to. <\/strong>
From digital signatures to smart storage systems – we are taking a paperless approach as standard.<\/p>\n

–Green energy, full speed ahead<\/strong>
We run on green energy and are in full swing with plans for solar panels on our ship – er, building.<\/p>\n

–Our fleet: electric & hybrid<\/strong>
Our fleet sails electric. With charging points ashore, we give our Sailors the right push. <\/p>\n

–Local suppliers as companions<\/strong>
Those who produce and transport sustainably are given priority with us. Together we ensure that the supply chain also sails greener. <\/p>\n

Our crew members are taking the helm into their own hands. Sustainability really lives among our colleagues. <\/p>\n

–Getting to work under their own steam<\/strong>
Many people consciously choose to ride their bikes or take public transportation. They brave wind and weather to keep their carbon footprint small. <\/p>\n

– Reusable water bottles<\/strong>
No plastic bottles on deck! Our Sailors drink from their reusable bottles – good for the planet as well as the team spirit. <\/p>\n

– <\/span>All out? All out. <\/strong>
After working hours, devices are turned off. No unnecessary waste of energy on board. <\/p>\n

Their example is like a lighthouse – it lights the path for others!<\/p>\n

Sustainability starts with awareness. That is why we regularly organize inspiring initiatives that make our Sailors think and act: <\/p>\n

From newsletters online or displayed on screens digitally.<\/p>\n

-The Positive Wave Crew team \ud83c\udf0a <\/strong>
A group of committed colleagues share ideas, plan actions and keep the green wave rolling.<\/p>\n

–Lunch & learn sessions<\/strong>
We dive into topics such as circular thinking, sustainable food and energy-efficient living – short but sweet, during the lunch break.<\/p>\n

We do not sail blindly. Every decision, every initiative, every choice counts. And the final destination? That lies in a cleaner future for all. <\/p>\n
