Enthusiastic captain M/F

As skipper(s) in pleasure cruising, you are the face of our fleet based in bustling Ostend. Your responsibilities as a skipper are varied and demanding.

In addition to independently navigating and setting the correct course to the highest maritime standards, you will also be a warm host who welcomes our guests on board and watches over their safety and comfort while sailing. You will do your part to create memorable moments for our guests. Our sailing area extends from the North Sea to the Mediterranean, familiarity with these waters is already an asset.

In addition to your duties as skipper(s), you will also be responsible for the equipment, winter storage and maintenance of the vessels. With your practical attitude, you perform or coordinate maintenance work yourself. Therefore, with you, our ships are in the best hands and are in optimal condition.

• You have previous experience as a skipper(in) in pleasure boating on seawater and inland waters with both sailboats (54ft) and powerboats (50ft).
• You have the necessary sailing licenses, such as Yachtman or RYA – Motor and Sailing, and VHF papers.
• You possess a sturdy set of sea legs and enjoy rolling up your own sleeves.
• A positive mindset, customer focus and a service minded attitude characterize you.
• You are flexible to work varying work hours, including weekends and holidays.
• You are language proficient enough to express yourself fluently in Dutch, English or French.
