SGC at the Hannover Messe for the 22nd time

We are pleased to announce the success of our subsidiary SGC 's 22nd participation at Hannover Messe. Hannover Messe is the world's largest industrial fair with more than 200,000 visitors from 70 different countries, this year's event was more than successful!
At SGC, we presented our latest innovation, the "Blue Line," featuring SF₆ gas-free products. This technology represents a significant advance in sustainability and efficiency in industrial processes.
Our presence at Hannover Messe allowed us to showcase the dedication behind our products to a global audience. We connected with industry leaders, experts and potential partners, fostering valuable connections and collaborations.

The function
As skipper(s) in pleasure cruising, you are the face of our fleet based in bustling Ostend. Your responsibilities as a skipper are varied and demanding.
In addition to independently navigating and setting the correct course to the highest maritime standards, you will also be a warm host who welcomes our guests on board and watches over their safety and comfort while sailing. You will do your part to create memorable moments for our guests. Our sailing area extends from the North Sea to the Mediterranean, familiarity with these waters is already an asset.
In addition to your duties as skipper(s), you will also be responsible for the equipment, winter storage and maintenance of the vessels. With your practical attitude, you perform or coordinate maintenance work yourself. Therefore, with you, our ships are in the best hands and are in optimal condition.
Who we are looking for
- You have previous experience as a skipper(in) in pleasure boating on seawater and inland waters with both sailboats (54ft) and powerboats (50ft).
- You have the necessary sailing licenses, such as Yachtman or RYA – Motor and Sailing, and VHF papers.
- You possess a sturdy set of sea legs and enjoy rolling up your own sleeves.
- A positive mindset, customer focus and a service minded attitude characterize you.
- You are flexible to work varying work hours, including weekends and holidays.
- You are language proficient enough to express yourself fluently in Dutch, English or French.
